One of Canada's premier bands. Blue Rodeo has established themselves to be not only Canadian icons but also international celebrities. This folk-rock band from Toronto, Canada, have often found themselves fielding comparisons with the Band , although in truth their sound owes as much to Buffalo Springfield and the Beatles . Two distinctive singer-songwriters and guitarists, Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor (ex- Crash Vegas ), helped to retain the group's individual edge. After a strong debut in Outskirts , which dealt almost exclusively in broken hearts, loss and yearning, Diamond Mine encompassed a wider lyrical scope with targets that included Colonel Oliver North and others who used 'God And Country' to justify their self-interest (in the song of the same title).

Blue Rodeo is:

  • Jim Cuddy (vocals, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, piano)
  • Greg Keelor (vocals, guitar, drums)
  • Bazil Donovan (bass, upright bass, guitar)
  • Glen Milchem (drums, percussion, guitar)
  • Bob Egan (lap steel guitar, pedal steel guitar, slide guitar)
  • James Gray (keyboards, accordian, wurlitzer, guitar)
